From the day that Solomon was entrusted with the work of building the temple, to the time of its completion, his avowed purpose was “to build an house for the name of the Lord God of Israel.” 2 Chronicles 6:7. This purpose was fully recognized before the assembled hosts of Israel at the time of the dedication of the temple. In his prayer the king acknowledged that Jehovah had said, “My name shall be there.” 1 Kings 8:29. (Prophets and Kings, Chapter 4)

Timișoara is one of the largest cities in Romania, being also one of the largest cultural and university centers of the western region, with a population of over 300,000 inhabitants. In 2023, together with Elefsina (Greece) and Veszprém (Hungary), Timișoara (Romania) took over the prestigious title of European Capital of Culture.

Today, our goal is to dedicate a house to God in the city of Timisoara. The missionary work was greatly blessed, books being frequently distributed in the center of the town. The community of Timișoara is mainly composed of young people. For this reason, we want to be able to open new opportunities to have diverse programs for the general public in our own premises. For our work to be a pillar of remembrance, there is a great need for property in this city with great potential.
